The one thing that defines a maker is passion. Without, projects can fall flat and inspiration begins to dwindle. It's the passion for trying out new ideas and coming up with solutions to problems around the home that keeps everyone inspired. Makers don't often need a WHY for a project. Their passion is their why. Why plant a flower garden? Why try to make a screen door when it could be a total #pinterestfail? The reason is because it brings joy to the maker and that's enough reason alone.
One DIY blogger that is bursting with passion for home and garden projects is Liz from Within the Grove. Her Instagram and blog document her various home projects and she loves to garden and especially PAINT. :) We love the post she wrote on her front door makeover--a total transformation! She also has several great blog posts about how to choose paint colors--including which gray is perfect for you home.
Another great project she's embarked on is starting a cut flower garden--so fun! Who doesn't love fresh flowers and even better when you can simply pluck them from your backyard! Liz also does a great job of incorporating her family into her projects which is so great to see! Sometimes as a parent you can put projects off because you don't want them to get in harm's way or you feel you don't have time--but we love how she just dives into a project and goes with it!
